It takes courage to run for the Maine State Legislature.
Candidates commit to knocking on hundreds, if not thousands of doors, calling and identifying thousands of potential supporters, marching in multiple parades, and sticking their head out issues that their friends and neighbor might not necessarily agree upon. And on occasion, have their opponents, PACs, and the Maine GOP lie and smear their reputations.
