Maine Senate Districts in Penobscot County

Six (6) Maine State Senate Districts are located, either totally or partially, within Penobscot County. In some districts, municipalities from other counties (Aroostook, Piscataquis, Hancock, and Washington) are also included as part of the District. Following are the municipalities that are included within each of Maine’s six House Districts in Penobscot County. To make it easier to differentiate municipalities in Penobscot County from those in other counties, municipalities in Penobscot County are italicized in the following list.

District 27 – Abbot, Atkinson, Beaver Cove, Bowerbank, Blanchard TWP, Brownville, Cambridge, Chester, Dover Foxcroft, East Millinocket, Greenville, Guilford, Harmony, Kingsbury Plantation, Lake View Plantation, Medford, Medway, Millinocket, Milo, Monson, Mount Chase, Northwest Piscataquis TWP, Northeast Piscataquis TWP, North Penobscot TWP, Ornville TWP, Palmyra, Parkman, Patten, Ripley, Sangerville, Sebec, Seboeis Plantation, Shirley, St. Albans, Staceyville, Wellington, Willimantic, and Woodville.

District 29 – Addison, Alexander, Baileyville, Baring Plantation, Beals, Beals Island, Beddington, Calais, Carroll Plantation, Centerville, Charlotte, Cherryfield, Cody Plantation, Columbia, Columbia Falls, Cooper, Cutler, Crawford, Danforth, DeBlois, Dennysville, Drew Plantation, East Machias, East Millinocket, Eastport, East Central Washington TWP, Grand Lake Stream Plantation, Harrington, Jonesboro, Jonesport, Lakeville, Lubec, Machias, Machiasport, Marshfield, Meddybemps, Milbridge, North Washington TWP. Passamaquoddy Indian Township, Perry, Princeton, Prentiss TWP, Rouque Bluffs, Talmadge, Topsfield, Stuben, Vanceboro, Waite, Wesley, Whitney.

District 30 – (All municipalities are in Penobscot County). Alton, Argyle TWP, Edinburgh, Enfield, Greenbush, Howland, Kingman TWP, Lagrange, Lee, Lincoln, Mattawamkeag, Maxfield, Old Town, Orono, Passadumkeag, Penobscot Nation Voting District, Springfield, Twombly Plantation, Webster Plantation, Winn, and Veazie.

District 31 – Amherst, Aurora, Bradley, Bucksport, Brewer, Burlington, Castine, Clifton, Dedham, Eddington, Holden, Lowell, Mariaville, Milford, Orland, Orrington, Otis, Penobscot, and Verona. Municipalities in italics are in Penobscot County. All others are in Hancock County.

District 32Bangor, Hermon.

District 33 – (All municipalities are in Penobscot County). Carmel, Charleston, Corinna, Corinth, Dexter, Dixmont, Etna, Exeter, Garland, Glenburn, Hampden, Kenduskeag, Levant, Newburgh, Newport, Plymouth, and Stetson.

Nineteen (19) Maine State House of Representatives’ Districts are located, either totally or partially, within Penobscot County. In some districts, municipalities from other counties (Aroostook, Piscataquis, Hancock, and Washington) are also included as part of the District.
